Solid State Power Controller Relay Provides Proportional Output For Applications Up To 100 Amps @ 40 deg C
BRIDGEWATER, MA - HBControls announces the availability of a new line of Solid State Power Controller Relays for use in heating control applications for the plastics, food processing, semiconductor and laboratory markets.
These new Power Controller Relays are used to provide controlled line voltage output proportional to the command signal received. The units operate from a 24VAC isolated power supply and use an input control signal from 4 - 20MA or 0 - 10VDC. All SCR Power Controller Relays feature: an integral heat sink for controlled cooling, HBControls' unique DIN rail mounting system for easy mounting and removal, and approvals from UL, CSA, VDE, and CE on all relays.
HBControls' user friendly rating system eliminates the need for thermal engineering on the part of the design engineer and assures optimal performance provided they are used in the environment for which they are rated. Standard models are available for use in applications requiring 10 - 40 Amps at a maximum operating temperature of 40 deg C ambient. Higher amperages and ambient operating temperatures are available. Optional voltage transient protection is available as an option.
