New 2-Jaw Power Chuck ROTA 2B

SCHUNK Inc. has introduces a new 2-Jaw power chuck the Rota 2B, designed for both turning centers and stationary applications. The Rota 2B design answers the need for reduced weight, a low profile, two jaw chucks, and flexibility.

Long base jaw guides ensure excellent clamping forces and the long stroke secures the workpiece during aggressive machining. The Rota 2B comes standard with integrated feed-thru and unique mounting features for irregular workpieces. It is also excellent for stationary applications when combined with the Opus-B pancake cylinder.

Additional features include seals and wipers placed in crucial areas to assist in reducing contamination of the chuck body and assisting in better grease retention. Clamping force ranges from 26 kN to 500 kN with jaw strokes ranging from 10 mm to 18 mm per jaw.

Utilized in turning or stationary applications, the Rota 2B is the 2-Jaw chuck that can tackle that tough application. An outstanding price-performance ratio makes the Rota 2B an excellent choice.
