API Delevan Introduces Series FW1405 Power Choke

API Delevan announces the introduction of its new Series FW1405 surface mount power choke, a high current inductor that utilizes rectangular copper wire edge-wound on a thermo-set epoxy bobbin-base. The base features an integral three terminal design for optimal part adhesion when soldered to a PCB, plus superior co-planarity is achieved due the inductor wire being soldered to the terminals. A low profile high saturation ferrite core completes the design.

Series FW1405 is available in 5 inductance values ranging from 0.40µH to 3.9µH. Current ratings range from 10 Amps to 26 Amps. Rated operating temperature is -25°C to +80°C. Standard packaging is 24mm tape, 600 pieces on 13-inch reel.

Samples are available and production lead-time is stock to 8 weeks ARO.
