75PC Series of LVDT Position Sensors from Sentech, Inc.
North Hills, Pennsylvania...Sentech, Inc. announces the availability of its new 75PC series of LVDT pressure sealed position sensors. Designed for use in factory or other extremely hostile environments the 75PC series units are available in measurement ranges of from ±0.050" (±1.27mm) to ±10.000" (±254mm) The 75PCAC series are available in AC-operated versions which are designed for use with external signal conditioners and are capable of operating over extended temperature ranges. DC-operated 75PCDC series units require only ±15VDC power to operate and produce a low noise, ±10V DC full scale output compatible with most PLCs and controllers and data collection and display instrumentation.
Each 75PC series unit features all stainless steel construction and is sealed to permit operation in hostile, wet, dirty and outdoor environments. Electrical connections are through a 6 pin bayonet type, hermetic connector. All units are capable of operating in pressures of up to 1000PSI (69 bar) and can be totally immersed in liquids with proper mating connector preparation.
DC-operated units have built-in miniature circuit modules which perform all signal conditioning functions and require only DC power to operate. Low noise DC voltage outputs offer maximum flexibility and compatibility with other system equipment and components.
Applications include automated assembly equipment, robotics, machine tools, valve position, building material measurements, actuator positioning, marine applications and many more.
