Product Applications: The PORTAL EXIT bollard provides visual guidance towards exits for exterior settings such as courtyards, patios, roof-top gardens and swimming pool decks, or other spaces requiring wayfinding. Suitable applications include hotels and condominiums, corporate campuses, hospitals, cultural and recreational centers, upscale malls, or entertainment venues.
Product Description: The PORTAL EXIT bollard is a ground mounted exit signage solution for outdoor applications where wall or ceiling mount solutions are not possible or desired. The slender rectangular bollard is extruded aluminum and includes refined styling details such as a beveled top, minimized visible hardware, and flangeless mounting. The LED bollard is 39” tall with a 12”x 3” rectangular profile.
The PORTAL EXIT bollard is available with green or red lettering to meet local or state codes. The bollard is CSA Certified for Wet Locations and complies with UL924 standards for exit signs. All hardware is stainless steel. Standard finishes include matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, or graphite grey. Special colors are available on request.
The PORTAL bollard may also incorporate custom signage or patterns on request. Contact factory or authorized HessAmerica representative for special requests.
Construction and Finishes: The PORTAL EXIT bollard shaft is fabricated from 6061-T6 aluminum extrusion with a cross-section of 12” x 3” and a nominal wall thickness of 0.187”. Overall bollard height is 39.4”.
The high power factor electronic universal LED driver accepts 120v through 277v at 50 or 60 Hertz. Power consumption is 9 watts.
The bollard installs onto a mounting assembly with two tamper-resistant countersunk stainless steel screws. The mounting assembly consists of a mounting plate, and three 1/2” x 15” x 3” hot-dip galvanized anchor bolts for embedment into a concrete foundation provided by others. Contact factory for alternate mounting methods.
Standard colors are matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, or graphite grey. Special colors are available upon request. All hardware is stainless steel.
