First Portable Workstation to Incorporate NVIDIA Quadro® FX 5500 by PNY Technologies® Ultra High-End Graphics Board



For Immediate Release: October 20, 2006, NextComputing, creators of the first FlexTop computer, the NextDimension, announced today the incorporation of the NVIDIA Quadro® FX 5500 by PNY Technologies® graphics board. The capability of a portable graphics workstation to accommodate this ultra high-end graphics board is an industry first.

The FX 5500 graphics board is an ultra high-performance professional graphics solution for CAD, DCC, and visualization applications. Engineered to address the most demanding GPU challenges, the NVIDIA Quadro® FX 5500 by PNY features: 33.6GB/sec. memory bandwidth and a 256-bit memory interface with support for 1024MB ultra-fast GDDR2 memory, two dual-link DVI connectors, and resolutions up to 3840 x 2400.
