BVS Announces New Low-Cost, Power Meter



METUCHEN, New Jersey. -- May 11,2006 -- Berkeley Varitronics Systems, Inc, the leader in portable stimulus transmitters introduces YellowFrog(TM), a portable, low-cost power meter.

YellowFrog(TM) is Berkeley's latest handheld power meter measuring between 800 MHz and 2.2 GHz with an accuracy of ± 0.5 dB. Unlike most Berkeley products, this one is connected directly to Gator(TM), Dragon(TM), Lizard or any CW transmitter with a type 'N' out (or adapter) for instant verification of power levels in dBm or Watts. YellowFrog(TM) only requires 2 AAA Ni-MH batteries (2 sets and charger included) to operate continuously for over 8 hours. The portable instrument weighs less than 2 pounds and features a large LCD display and USB port providing both power and communication to any PC. While YellowFrog(TM) includes PC controller/monitoring software for setting frequencies and recording power out levels, it does not require a PC to operate. Available now.
