New Megger DLRO600 Lightens the Load
Megger's new DLRO600 is the lightest high current low-resistance ohmmeter and provides the operator with a portable method of performing on-site low resistance measurements and eliminates the need to carry heavy test equipment.
At just under 15kg, the product is around half the weight of a typical high current low-resistance ohmmeter, yet offers a test current that is continuously variable, from 10A to a full 600A d.c. and enables the user to perform all of their tests with a single instrument. Users no longer need a 100A, 200A or 500A set - the DLRO600 does it all. Its high current capability and compact design make it the obvious choice for testing d.c. measurements on switch contacts, breaker contacts, busbars, joints, SF6 switchgear, splices, fuses and rail bonds. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, this rugged unit is IP54 (splashproof) rated and is suitable for the workshop, production floor or in the field.
In addition, the unit has three operating modes of continuous, normal and auto and accurately measures resistance from 0.1 micro-ohm to 1 ohm, with a best resolution of 0.1 micro-ohms. Data is displayed on a large backlit LCD and up to 80 test results and associated notes may be stored and downloaded to a computer or printer.
