Portable, Highly Accurate Sound Level Calibrator
Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) has rolled out a handy sound level calibrator for fast and easy calibration of sound level meters and sound measuring systems. It boasts solid state integrated circuitry that provides accurate and stable performance. The portable sound level calibrator is intended to check the accuracy of many types of sound instruments.
This compact sound level calibrator, model 6221A, comes in a variety of configurations to meet any sound measurement requirement. Each system is composed of several components designed to work together as one integrated test instrument and output jacks that supply an AC RMs or DC Volt signal. The calibrator complies with IEC 60942 class 1 standard and operates at a normal frequency of 1000Hz with an accuracy of ±1%. It features excellent insensitivity to statistic pressure, normal sound pressure levels of 94dB and 114dB, a sound level accuracy of ±0.2dB or ±0.3dB and sound pressure independent of microphone equivalent volume.
