Designed to provide up to 35,827 BTU/hour heat removal, PolyScience DURACHILL(TM) Chillers are ideal for cooling plastic molding equipment, machine tools, lasers, printing presses, laboratory equipment, electronics, and other process equipment. These small, portable units are
available with 1½, 2, or 3 HP compressors with either air- or water-cooled condensers.
For optimum process and equipment protection, DURACHILL Chillers come equipped with user-adjustable temperature, pressure, and flow rate alarms as well as automatic condenser pressure cutouts. Other standard features include digital microprocessor temperature control and large, easy-to-read LED temperature and pressure/flow rate displays. These highly reliable chillers are suitable for process temperatures from 41° to 95°F (5° to 35°C) and can maintain set point temperature with ±0.9°F (0.5°C) stability. 1½ HP models feature a positive displacement pump; 2 and 3 HP units have magnetic drive centrifugal pumps.
For application and installation flexibility, a wide variety of options and accessories are available for DURACHILL Chillers. Typical options include wider process temperatures, serial output, remote temperature probe, remote control, DI compatible process piping, and higher output pumps. For added convenience, these rugged, portable units can also be equipped with process shutoff valves, recirculating pumps, tank level indicators, and automatic water makeup valves as well as other accessories.
