Original Press Release:

New Portable, USB-Powered Real-Time Analyzer from m+p International

Equipped with a 24-bit four-channel USB-powered dynamic acquisition module, m+p international's new SO Analyzer is the perfect engineering tool for portable noise and vibration applications. It provides highly accurate measurements from audio frequency IEPE (ICP) sensors and all the functionality you need for your daily test job at a surprisingly low price.

Thanks to its self-powered USB 2.0 hi-speed connectivity to a host PC or a laptop, the SO Analyzer is a compact real-time analyzer designed for professional applications in the field and in the laboratory. With 25 kHz bandwidth, 24-bit resolution and 102 dB dynamic range, the SO Analyzer offers very high precision on 4 channels and upwards and is perfectly suited for versatile N&V measurements and analyses.

From within a single application, you do real-time data acquisition, import data from more than 20 different standard N&V data formats, analyse the results and create your reports. The MS Windows ® like user interface and the wizard-driven set-up of all measurement parameters ensure quick and safe operation, minimizing the probability of operator errors. The flexible real-time acquisition of m+p international's SO Analyzer features user-selectable block sizes, sample rates, filtering, re-sampling and a wide range of time and frequency domain computed functions and averaging modes. Additional options are available for hammer impact capture linked to a geometry for ODS and modal analysis, rotating machinery analysis with tacho, real-time octave analysis, acoustic intensity analysis as well as throughput to disc recording.
