New Ball Valves from Victaulic®

LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa., September 2002 -- Victaulic(R) now offers a new generation of high-pressure standard port ball valves with grooved ends in either ductile iron or stainless steel. The Series 726 in ductile iron, and Series 726S in CF8M stainless steel, are two-piece, end-entry valves with a floating ball for lower torque requirements.

NACE compliant, the valves have maximum working pressures of 1,000 psi for 1 1/2" to 3" (40 to 80 mm), and 800 psi for 4" (100 mm) and 6" (150 mm) sizes. A chrome-plated carbon steel ball and stem are connected to a virgin TFE seat in the Series 726, while a 316 stainless stem and ball is standard for the 726S. The internal design of the valve is streamlined to provide excellent flow.

Standard ISO mounting holes permit easy mounting of remote actuators. The valves are offered with manual handles that include integral/tamper resistant lock/seal and gear operators.
