Constructed of a super-strong polymer composite, the patent-pending PontoonGuard is a do-it-yourself, reflective product that provides protection to the most vulnerable and exposed portion of the boat – the aluminum pontoon. The three-and-a-half-inch wide extruded PontoonGuard helps owners avoid damage from abrasion, impacts, dents and chaffing commonly caused by docks, piers, trailers and other boats. PontoonGuard is also designed to deliver added peace of mind by incorporating a special silver reflective 3M™ Scotchlite™ tape that is co-extruded into the product enhancing the visibility of the vessel in nighttime or low-light conditions when illuminated by a light source such as headlights or searchlights. PontoonGuard not only protects pontoon tubes from damage, it adds a sleek, custom look to any vessel. PontoonGuard is available in two sizes. The 32-foot kit includes two 16-foot protectors for boats up to 21-feet, while the 40-foot kit includes two 20-foot protectors for boats up to 25-feet. The kits are priced at $369.93 and $439.95, respectively, and are currently available in gray and black. In December 2016, it will also be available in blue and red, with future additional colors based upon consumer demand.
