Pomona Electronics Unveils New Static Control Products


EVERETT, Wash., - Pomona Electronics, the leading manufacturer of cable assemblies, connectors, and test accessories, has added several new accessories to its family of static control products.

New accessories include adjustable wrist straps, designed to fit most users, provide quick and easy adjustment without tools; antistatic ground cords with a molded-in 1 Megohm resistor at the snap end, available with either a straight banana plug or right angle plug; ring terminals that attach to a table or cabinet to create a banana jack for grounding wrist straps; and a new stacking snap banana jack that allows multiple attachment to the same grounding point.

Pomona's newest grounding components (adjustable wrist straps, model 6081, 6083, 5528, 5529; antistatic ground cords, model 5534 and 6085; ring terminal, model #5531; and stacking snap banana jack, model #5534) are available through most general electronics distributors. Grounding system kits (model 6087 and 6088) are also available.
