PolyVision to Showcase Interactive Classroom Tools at the 2006 Texas Computer Education Association Event

AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 6 / -- PolyVision Corporation, a Steelcase Company (NYSE:SCS) and the world leader in visual communication products, today announced that it will highlight several of the company's leading classroom technology solutions at the upcoming Texas Computer Education Association (TCEA) 2006 event. The products to be demonstrated from PolyVision's product portfolio include the Walk-and-Talk(TM) Lightning(TM) Interactive Whiteboard, the TS Lightning(TM) Interactive Whiteboard, and the Walk-and-Talk(TM) Interactive Panel and Cordless Lectern.

PolyVision's technology products will also be located in four of the company's primary dealer's booths. Dealers will showcase the Walk-and-Talk Lightning Interactive whiteboard on a PolyVision Adjustable Height Stand and the traditional Walk-and-Talk Interactive Whiteboard, both with educational software.

PolyVision is dedicated to making it simple for teachers and students to engage interactive whiteboard technology in the teaching and learning process," said Mike Dunn, CEO and President of PolyVision. "We're thrilled to be sharing our solutions with attendees to TCEA."

PolyVision's solutions continue to redefine the use of technology in the education market. The Walk-and-Talk Lightning and TS Lightning Interactive Whiteboards are the world's only calibration-free interactive whiteboards. Lightning technology eliminates the need to perform the four, eight, or sixteen point calibration that is required with standard interactive whiteboards.

The Walk-and-Talk boards allow users to walk among their audience while controlling the presentation and whiteboard activities through an incredibly intuitive remote control. The remote puts the power and flexibility of the Walk-and-Talk board in the user's hands, allowing the user to project, write with projected ink, erase, save, print, and access the Web. Additionally, the Walk-and-Talk Lightning board can be used with any PC, any time, any place, with PolyKey(TM) Technology. PolyKey eliminates the need to load or learn proprietary board software so you can literally plug-and-play.

The Walk-and-Talk Interactive Panel with Cordless Lectern provides teachers with the ability to project and interact with a computer by writing directly on the interactive panel screen. Its stylus or remote control is used to highlight key points, annotate presentations, or capture new thoughts. The solution is scalable from large-format projection in auditoriums and classrooms to group collaboration in small project rooms. The Walk-and-Talk Interactive Panel with Cordless Lectern shares the same easy-to-use attributes as the Walk-and-Talk interactive whiteboards: PolyKey Technology and the intuitive remote control. With the battery pack and wireless capability, teachers are no longer tied to any spot in the room, making this the most versatile lectern on the market.

PolyVision will be located in booth number 1454 at this year's TCEA event.
