Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics manufactures an advanced formula high-density polyurethane, which provides a high coefficient of friction, even on slick surfaces, making it an excellent choice for bumpers and footpads for electronic equipment and housewares.
The company says their product, called Lo-Skid, is abrasion resistant and won't mar desk or counter tops. And, the material is firm enough to allow intricate die-cuts, but still remains flexible. Lo-Skid is offered without adhesive or with adhesive on one side to suit a variety of applications. It is available in a variety of gauges from .016 to .125 inches.
