Unique New Polymer Foam From Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has announced a newly engineered polymeric foam called AGP(TM) that has properties not found in other sealing products currently on the market.
Through advanced polymer chemistry the company has created a soft, conformable sealing foam that is water tight with only 30% compression, contains no plasticizers, has very low fogging characteristics, and is environmentally friendly. In addition AGP(TM) will perform under extreme environmental and temperature conditions, and has a low flammability rating.
Developed for the automotive industry, AGP© is available in thicknesses from 3 - 40 mm for use as gaskets for underhood HVAC, fire-wall applications, acoustical gap fillers on extruded weather strips and as window gaskets.
