All-Weather Polyethylene Tape for Assembly and Construction Applications



Windsor, Connecticut - October 29, 2003.... Scapa North America offers a clear, UV stabilized polyethylene tape suitable for a range of indoor and outdoor assembly, construction, and repair applications. Scapa 1433 offers good adhesion to rigid plastics, flexible films, glass, wood and metal.

Highly conformable, Scapa 1433 is a self wound, clear polyethylene film single coated with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. The film allows good light penetration, yet is stabilized against UV rays and offers excellent age resistance. The product is formulated to provide excellent resistance to humidity, plasticizers, oil, water, salt water and direct sunlight.

Scapa 1433 is ideal for reinforcing horticultural PVC and polyethylene structures such as tunnel greenhouses, for joining and repairing greenhouse thermal screens, and for repairing cracks in rigid plastic or glass.
