Applications include parks, arboretums, pathways, and entry plazas for malls or entertainment venues. It is also well suited for highlighting building entrances and pedestrian gathering areas found on corporate campuses, universities, city centers, and transportation facilities.
Product Description: Scaled for pedestrian spaces, the PARCO family creates a compelling visual image for contemporary architecture through its graceful curved pole. The solid-state luminaire is regressed into the pole profile and emits zero uplight, making it suitable for use in all LEED lighting zones and Dark Sky applications. Subtly executed design elements include concealed anchor bolts within the integral base and an absence of visible welds or hardware.
Designers may choose between performance or comfort optics to satisfy varying lighting needs. The performance optics deliver maximum uniform illumination. Comfort optics emit diffused illumination for intimate spaces where ambiance and lower brightness is desired. Power consumption is 32 watts or 48 watts, respectively. Both light engines are available in warm or neutral color temperatures with a CRI greater than 80. The PARCO pole mounted series is available in 10’, 12’, or 14’ heights.
The complementary bollard is designed for the illumination of paths and walkways. The LED light engine delivers crisp illumination and excellent uniformity, exceeding industry lighting recommendations for pathways up to 8’ wide. Bollard spacings up to five and a half mounting heights (16.5’ centers) are possible while meeting pathway illumination standards. Power consumption is twelve watts.
Construction and Finishes: The PARCO pole mounted luminaire housing is fabricated from aluminum and nests within the pole for a semi-flush installation. The sealed enclosure houses the LED light engine and integral electronic LED driver. The lens is clear flat tempered glass.
The PARCO pole is formed from seamless 6061 aluminum tubing with a rectangular cross-section of 7.5” x 3.5”. The pole base of welded construction is integral to the shaft and conceals the anchor bolts once installed. Entry door with tamper-resistant locking device at the rear of the base provides access to the anchor bolts and incoming power. The poles are available in 10’, 12’, or 14’ heights. Standard colors are matte silver grey metallic, dark grey, and graphite grey. Special colors are available on request. All hardware is stainless steel.
The PARCO bollard with integral mounting base is fabricated from 6061-T6 aluminum with a cross section of 6” x 2” and an overall height of 37.5”. The extruded aluminum luminaire houses the LED engine and driver. Lens is clear acrylic.
LED light engines for the PARCO family are available in 3000K or 4000K color temperatures with a CRI greater than 80. High power factor electronic universal LED drivers accept 120v through 277v at 50 or 60 Hertz. Optional 0-10v dimming is available on request.
