Ronkonkoma, N.Y. -- February 2, 2009 -- HD Communications Corp., a leading wireless electronics company, unveiled today its new In-Wall Wi-Fi, Data, VoIP, and PoE device at the INTERNET TELEPHONY CONFERENCE & EXPO at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami, Florida. The HD27000 is an all-in-one device designed specifically for hotels, motels and the enterprise market. "We listened to our customers and simply gave them what they wanted," said Don Davis, President and CEO. "Hotels, motels and businesses require good Wi-Fi, a wired ethernet connection, good Internet security, and the ability to plug in a VoIP phone as well as power it. The HD27000 does it all in one clean package," Davis added. The HD27000 is a small, PoE-powered 802.11b/g access point that is IEEE> 802.3af PoE-compliant and is designed for locations wired for Category5/Cat5e/Cat6 cable or planning to wire for Ethernet cable. The hotel, motel and enterprise markets seem to be perfect customers for this product.

The HD27000 is an 802.11b/g wireless access point with multiple SSID's so customers can set up both public and private networks. The device also has an RJ45 jack on the front that is PoE (IEEE 802.3af-compliant) that can power a VoIP phone or just provide a data port to the location. The device has the latest in security available and is powered via Cat5 cable that feeds into the back of the HD27000. All of these features are contained in a device that fits into a single gang electrical box. "The HD27000 is a result of over two years of working with customers with our earlier in-wall product, the HD24613, which has been installed in thousands of locations around the world. Customers always want more and we try to accommodate as much as we can," Davis stated. The VoIP industry is certainly an area destined for growth as large enterprises look to reduce their monthly costs. HD Communications Corp. seems to be following that trend and continues to introduce cost-saving products. Last month they introduced the HD26172, a wireless bridge solution to connect the wired network between two buildings so companies could eliminate a T-1 or T-3 connection. When asked if this is the new direction the company is going, introducing cost-saving devices, Davis added, "We are living in challenging times and we, as a company, need to listen carefully to our customers. If you can bring more features to a customer and additionally lower their overall costs, everybody wins."

HD Communications Corp. has had tremendous growth in the broadband wireless arena over the past few years, more than doubling their sales in 2008. As they continue to pursue new markets and introduce new products they hope to continue to grow despite the ailing economy.
