MW-100 Allows True Mobile Printing from Virtually Any Source
WHAT: Mobile computing has become indispensable for corporate and commercial field forces. But to date, truly simple, high-quality printing solutions for PDAs and laptops have been hard to find. Well not any more!
At Comdex 2002, Brother will be previewing its ultra sleek, super slim MW-100 Micro Printer. Already available in Japan and Europe, this pocket-sized wireless printer weighs under 10 ounces and measures just 4.0" x 6.4" x 0.7" (WDH). The MW-100 has an internal A7 size paper cassette that holds up to 50 sheets. With a built-in rechargeable lithium ion battery, and both infra-red and USB interfaces, the MW-100 produces crisp, on-the-move printing from PDAs and notebook computers.
To meet many needs, six different media cassettes are available for the MW-100: including note paper, self-adhesive labels, and even 2-ply carbon copy sheets. In addition to the standard drivers included with the unit, Brother can provide a Software Developers Kit for those wishing to print from custom vertical applications.
