Static Solutions Introduces the Next Generation Ohm-Stat(TM) RT-500 Surface Resistivity/Resistance Meter
The Ohm-Stat(TM) RT-500 is the industry's first resistivity/resistance meter offering many of the benefits of the high-end resistance/resistivity meter such as the Ohm-Stat(TM) RT-1000 meter but at a drastically lower cost.
The pocket-sized meter has built-in parallel electrodes on the bottom of the case to measure resistance to ground and surface resistivity. There are external banana jacks that will accept two 5 lb. 2.5 inch electrodes, which measure RTT, RTG, and volume resistance. Also available are miniature RTT probes that will test small, difficult to reach surfaces, chairs, and smocks.
The RT-500 is easy to use. Simply press the button on the front of the meter and it automatically measures either 10 volts or 100 constant volts depending on the resistance of the material. The easy-to-read, colored LEDs test between 1E 3 -1E12 ohms and are extremely accurate.
The meter comes with a carrying case, 9-volt battery, ground cord, NIST, and CE certificate. Additional accessories that may be purchased include: 2.5 inch, 5 lb. probes to measure RTT and RTG, miniature probes to test in hard to reach areas, chair probes, and a building ground checker. The meter conforms and will test to IEC 61340-4-1, DIN-EN 100 015/1, ASTM-D-257, ANSI/ESD STM 11.11, ANSI/ESD STM 11.2, ANSI-EOS/ESD-S4.1-1990, ANSI/ESD-S7.1-1994, ESD S9.l1-1995, ESD STM12.1-1997, and ESD STM 2.1-1997 specifications using the accessory or enclosed electrodes.
