Pocket Refractometers measure both Brix and acidity.

Press Release Summary:

Available in 16 different models, PAL-BX/ACID Series measures sugar and acidity level in fruit juices, milk, beer, yogurt, sake, or vinegar. Devices measure total acidity in sample and convert it into citric, tartaric, malic, acetic, or lactic acid concentrations, depending on unit. Unlike traditional titration method, PAL-BX/ACID Series requires no reagent. Measuring 55 x 31 x 109 mm, IP65-rated refractometers feature backlit screen and measurement time of 3 seconds.

Introducing the NEW PAL-BX/Acid Series

Pocket Brix-Acidity Refractometer and Master Kits Easily Measure Brix and Acidity with One Unit

The PAL-BX/ACID Series measures sugar and acidity level in fruit juices, milk, beer, yogurt, sake, or vinegar. Each unit in this series measures both Brix (sugar level) and acidity. There are 16 different PAL-BX/ACID meter models, each uniquely designed with a specific scale best suited for the sample it is measuring. The PAL-BX/ACID meters measure the total acidity in a sample and convert it into either citric, tartaric, malic, acetic, or lactic acid concentrations, depending on the unit.

Unlike the traditional titration method, PAL-BX/ACID requires no costly reagent. Special features include a backlit screen for easy to read measurements (even in dark locations), and fast measurement in approx. three seconds.

The Master Kit comes complete with unit of choice, funnel attachment, plastic pipettes (5 pieces), scale, plastic beaker and a large case. When purchasing separately without the Master Kit, Pocket Brix/Acidity Refractometers include a funnel attachment, plastic pipettes and a small case.
