Pneumatic Positioner uses Closed Loop Servo Valve with On Board Electronics

Company will display Pneumatic Positioner at the IMTS 2002 Manufacturing Conference, September 4-11, 2002 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Booth #4222

Pneumatic closed loop valve technology combined with a proven linear positioner provides an accurate, compact package for positioning and force control, resulting in increased throughput.

Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics has combined the industry proven AccuMaster(TM) linear positioner with a pneumatic closed loop servo valve resulting in a compact, economical and accurate positioning package. The valve is an electrically controlled continuous-action type with 5/3 directional control. All settings are pre-calibrated at the factory, and only one cable is required. Because of the "On Board Electronics" feature, no extra space is needed for the amplifier board. Feedback signals are 0 to +/-10VDC for easy troubleshooting. The ISO size 2 valve is mounted directly onto the cap of the rugged, steel AccuMaster(TM) positioner. The positioner has an analog or digital feedback transducer built-in, and comes in a wide variety of bore sizes and strokes to 90". Positions can be programmed by using the HNC series of axis controllers from Bosch Rexroth.
