New Features Added To Popular Powermaster Plus Pneumatic Framing Nailer

The award-winning PowerMaster Plus(TM), Paslode's popular pneumatic framing nailer, has a whole new look thanks to four major feature upgrades designed to make the tool more convenient and comfortable to use on the job site. The enhancements include:

o Overmold Grip - for increased durability and user comfort.

o Rafter Hook - that makes it easy to hang the nailer on a tool belt or on a wood structure.

o Ruler on Magazine - that allows for quick measurements without using a tape.

o Bolt on End Plug - that is a more secure attachment method.

Late last year, the tool also underwent several major upgrades to increase its durability and maximize its performance in demanding job-site conditions.

These included:

o A wider and stronger upper and lower work contact element to reduce breakage, increasing the life of the parts and reducing down time.

o A tough, one-piece aluminum magazine to provide increased durability and less down time.

o A newly redesigned tool cap and main valve improved the airflow and performance over a greater range of operating conditions.

"The recent advancements to increase the durability of the PowerMaster Plus and improve performance in rigorous job-site conditions, combined with the newest feature upgrades, make this tool a great value to all framers," says Pat Ryan, framing market manager for Paslode.

The PowerMaster Plus offers an unmatched combination of power, comfort and durability, making it an ideal tool for framing contractors, general contractors, custom homebuilders and remodelers.

Weighing just 8.4 lbs., the 30-degree framing nailers drive 2 to 3 ½ inch nails through engineered lumber with ease. Delivering over 10 percent more power per pound than competitive models, the ergonomically designed tool is suited for a variety of applications that range from framing and sheathing to fence and deck construction.

According to Paslode, the nailer delivers more power than competitive models, and has better balance and less recoil as a result of its ergonomic design. These factors work together to reduce user fatigue and increase overall productivity, making the tool useful for projects around the house and for jobs on the construction site.

The tool also fits easily between 16-inch on center studs, and the barrel-shaped nose provides an easy line of sight to the work surface. The work contact element adjusts for precise depth of drive on the tool, rather than at the compressor, and is specially designed for better gripping of the wood when toenailing.

The tool has a suggested retail price of $279.
