Norgren's Pneumatic Stainless Steel Cylinders Provide High Corrosion and Acid Resistance



Littleton, Colorado, USA - November 2004. Norgren, the motion and fluid control specialist, offers a full range of NFPA stainless steel cylinders ideally suited for manufacturing environments that can be at risk from corrosion and acid substances. Suitable for wash down processes within industries such as food preparation, the cylinders are available as double acting, magnetic piston with either buffer or adjustable cushioning.

Manufactured from corrosion resistant stainless steel the actuators can be specified with operating pressures up to 250 PSI and various bore sizes up to 8". With an operating temperature range of -40°F to 200°F the Norgren cylinders are rated for 'non lube added' service. All internal components are lubricated at time of assembly with a Teflon® based grease. The cylinders have been specifically designed for push and pull applications and can be operated either with filtered compressed air to 250 PSI and petroleum based hydraulic fluid to 400 PSI.
