Compact Automation Products Introduces New Universal Cylinder Product Line
Westminster, SC - Compact Automation Products (CAP), an industry leader in the development of pneumatics technology, introduces the Universal Series, an extended family of pneumatic cylinder products. Designed to provide drop-in replacement for most square-bodied, pancake-type pneumatic cylinders, the Universal Series offers all of the benefits of CAP quality and performance as well as direct interchange capabilities.
Cylinders bore sizes range from 8 to 100mm and strokes from 5 to 100mm. All units are fully rebuildable; and custom options are available to meet any design specification. The low-profile Universal Series meets the highest standards of structural integrity and offers many advantages: corrosion and wear-resistance, high-yield strength and low breakaway for longevity; specially designed thick cylinder walls which provide durability and optional mounting and port locations; and increased flexibility for modifications. The new Universal Series also utilizes flush-mounted Compact Round Limit Sensors, which feature standard "Magneto Resistive" technology - the best available in magnetic sensing.
