Both adapter boards easily integrate onto host CPU PCI and PMC sites to build powerful processing solutions addressing high-density wireless, wireline, SS7 and network convergence applications.
The carrier-class adapters offer single, dual or quad front panel T1/E1/J1 ports accessible through shielded RJ-48c connectors for easy cabling and low emissions. The PMC (Part #OSS-wanPMC-CxT1E1) and PCI (Part#OSS-wanPCI-CxT1E1) adapter boards are 128 channel communications controllers offering SS7, HDLC and transparent mode protocol support. The adapters incorporate onboard CSU/DSU functionality, reducing the dependency on external equipment.
