Original Press Release:

Graco Introduces Reactor 2

With advanced, customer-inspired features, Reactor 2 is the next generation of plural component technology for spray foam and polyurea.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Graco Inc. (NYSE:GGG), a leading manufacturer of fluid handling equipment, today introduced the Reactor® 2 plural component sprayer at the annual convention of the Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) in Palm Springs, Calif. The Reactor 2 provides software and hardware advancements that help contractors apply materials accurately. It also offers innovative data reporting technologies that help owners track and record jobsite activity and spraying parameters.

“The Reactor 2 is the most important launch in the Reactor product line since the first Reactor was launched ten years ago,” said Tryg Waterhouse, product marketing manager, Graco Applied Fluid Technologies Division. “The advanced features of the Reactor 2 incorporate exciting new technologies to help make businesses more successful. We listened to customer feedback to develop a technically advanced machine to meet the needs of our end users.”

Customer-inspired changes include: a 40 percent smaller footprint than a standard Graco Reactor for more room in the spray rig; the relocation of electronics for easier service; and an advanced motor control module and software that produces a smoother, more consistent spray performance. The Advanced Display Module (ADM) features data download, chemical recipe storage, drum level indicators and on-screen troubleshooting.

The Reactor 2 Elite model comes with an inlet pressure and temperature sensor, Xtreme-Wrap™ Scuff Guard on heated hoses for Reactor 2 packages, and Graco InSite. Graco InSite is a remote reporting technology that enables owners of spray foam businesses to see real-time jobsite data via smart phone, tablet or computer.

With Graco InSite, owners can confirm that crews started on time, verify that spray parameters are being met, see how much material is being used, troubleshoot, and verify rig locations via GPS signal. In addition to transmitting real-time data, Graco InSite collects data from all of the user’s connected jobsites and emails a daily report. The reports can be kept on file and used as spray parameter documentation if clients or homeowners have questions.

The Reactor 2 comes in electric stand-alone models and integrated systems. For more information, visit www.graco.com/reactor2 or email info@graco.com.
