Plumb & Square, the Home Depot's Service Provider, Goes Live with ClickSoftware for Mobile Workforce Optimization
BURLINGTON, Massachusetts, November 2/ -- ClickSoftware Technologies, Ltd. (NasdaqCM: CKSW), a leading provider of workforce and service optimization solutions, today announced the roll-out of it's flagship ClickSchedule solution at Plumb & Square, an authorized service provider to The Home Depot. The ClickSchedule service optimization tool is now driving licensed door installers in two major US markets. The roll-out plan calls for service delivery in many additional major markets by the end of 2007 and will be part of a customized IT system for tracking logistics from order to install.
Plumb & Square selected ClickSchedule and ClickAnalyze to optimize the door installation services the company provides for The Home Depot. The adoption of ClickSoftware technology is part of a larger effort to ensure that their residential door installations are a seamless experience for both channel partner and homeowner.
Plumb & Square conducted an extensive search of field service optimization vendors over several months before making a selection. The Company was drawn to ClickSoftware over the competition due to the horizontal breadth of ClickSoftware's solution, its ability to scale, and the flexible licensing arrangements. Plumb & Square is also able to leverage the powerful mapping functionality provided by ClickSoftware which utilizes NAVTEQ map data; functionality that is essential for the "right person at the right location" vision that Plumb & Square sought.
