Expanded Line of Pluggable Transducers Increases Capacity, Reduces Labor Costs

Germantown, WI---WAGO Corporation has expanded its line 286 series "pluggable modules" to include the new 786 Series. The new, larger 786 Series can convert 0-10V or 4-20 mA signals into an isolated 0-10V, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA signal. Safety is enhanced with an isolation rating of 4kV.

WAGO pluggable transducers reduces time spent on installation because they can be plugged directly onto the terminal block assembly using base receptacle blocks. The combination of electrical and electronic functions on the carrier rail saves space and reduces wiring costs. The modules are protected against mismating and they can be replaced in a single operation without affecting the wiring during maintenance. Touchproof test contacts can also be used when the module is plugged in.

Base receptacle blocks of the 286 series modules can also be used for the new 786 series transducers, which are 15, 20 or 25 mm wide. The various widths of this new series will allow for an expanded product offering in the future.
