Little Neck, NY, September 2, 2003 - Leviton Manufacturing Company has introduced an all-new DHC (Decora Home Controls) Scene-Capable Plug-In Receiver Module, rated to provide convenient control of home appliances. The versatile Scene Capable Plug-In Receiver can now be used to add a floor or table lamp to a scene control network (when used with any number of DHC Scene-Capable Controllers) or provide a convenient way to perform remote ON/OFF switching of appliances. The Module features a convenient illuminated locator button that glows when the unit's attached load is OFF. The same button provides local ON/OFF switching of attached loads.
The Plug-In Receiver Module features simplified, one-button programming through an instant address-capturing feature that streamlines set-up. The Module features Leviton's exclusive Intellisense(TM) technology (gated automatic gain control) for the utmost in signal reliability, even where electrical "noise" exists on the power line. It also provides 2-Way Communication with status-tracking-capable Controllers and Programmers.
The Plug-In Receiver Module is ideal for residential settings where remote ON/OFF switching of appliances, motors rated up to 1/2 HP or freestanding incandescent, low-voltage and fluorescent lighting loads are desired.
