D-Sub Connectors for Harsh Environments

Harrisburg, PA - Phoenix Contact's line of VARIOSUB D-SUB plug connectors is specifically designed for harsh industrial environments. The connector system meets the requirements for
IP 67 protection. The VARIOSUB D-SUB plug connector family consists of a polyamide housing, mounting frame and D-sub contact inserts which are available in 9, 15, and 25-pin positions.

Male and female contact inserts can be connected in several ways: solder directly to printed circuit board, screw terminals, crimp contacts or flat ribbon cable. In addition, EMC shielding can be integrated into the housing for protection against interference.

No tools are needed to operate the connector-it is a "plug and play" operation. This simplifies set up and maintenance, since the sleeve housing is easy to unplug, plug in, and move. All field connections are pluggable and coded, making installation easy and error-free.

Phoenix Contact Inc. is registered to ISO 9001: 2000 - Quality Systems Model for Quality Assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.
