Plex Online Replaces Infor ERP at IMS Gear
ERP Solution Provides German Gear Manufacturer Flexibility, Improved Efficiency
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Plex Systems, Inc., provider of Plex Online ERP manufacturing software, today announced IMS Gear, the Germany-based 140-year-old international expert in gear wheel engineering and gear systems, is transitioning from Infor ERP to Plex Online at its multiple manufacturing plants which are located in Germany, Mexico and the United States. At the same time, Plex announced that the Plex Online solution has been certified for use by the German tax authorities.

Plex Online met the requirements of the German government to adhere to its national GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) financial requirements, and worked with German tax authorities to provide required access to financial information required for calculating taxes. Plex Online's software as a service (SaaS) model and "anywhere, anytime" access actually simplified data collection and reporting for the German tax authorities, as compared to legacy, on-premise ERP solutions.
Plex Online is a comprehensive solution for manufacturers, including traditional ERP financial functions as well as shop-floor functions such as quality, engineering, traceability, supplier management and more.
