BBA Filtration Introduces Reemay X-Treme(TM) Filtration Media



BBA Filtration introduces a new filtration media called Reemay X-Treme(TM). Reemay X-Treme is a pleatable multi-denier polyester spunbond media offering excellent dust-holding capacity and low pressure drop. It is an excellent pleat support media for both liquid and air applications. Reemay X-Treme is BBA Filtration's fourth new filtration media in the last nine months. Reemay Elite(TM), Typar Super Scrim(TM) and Reemay Advantage(TM) have all been recently introduced.

Reemay X-Treme is a nonwoven web that consists of muliple layers of polyester spunbond fibers. Fiber shapes (quadralobal, trilobal and round) can be varied in the composition to meet specific application requirements. Denier per filament can also be varied between the layers to provide exacting filtration properties.

Reemay X-Treme has excellent strength and uniformity, and it offers the heat stability of polyester. Area bonded, it has no chemical binders. It can be used as a stand-alone media or support media, depending on end-use, and it is pleatable with
both rotary and push bar pleaters. It is available in weights from 0.5 to 6.0 osy. Reemay X-Treme is patent pending.
