Berg Chilling Introduces New PLC Simulator

Berg Chilling Systems Inc. has introduced a new PLC Simulation Unit designed to test new software programs while the physical units (chiller, pumping station, etc.) are being built, saving time on the test stand once manufacturing is complete. That means quicker delivery of the equipment. Unlike that of most other chiller manufacturers, the Berg system is proprietary which insures direct maintenance by the company rather than an outside source.

The new unit is built to handle all new software programs regardless of which PLC is used. The software is tested on the Simulation Unit and then reconfirmed in actual testing of the whole unit once it is built.

The Berg Simulation unit can be used to help a customer who is expanding his plant or upgrading equipment by permitting testing of function changes/additions at the Berg plant before being sent to the customer. This allows trouble-free loading and running at the customer's facility. Or a customer can also go online with Berg's engineering department and have his software tested by the Simulation unit. In all cases the result is enhanced efficiency and reduced downtime.

Berg Chilling Systems designs and manufactures custom and portable chillers for world-wide sales and distribution.
