Plastics Color Expands Color Capacity at Chicago Manufacturing Facility
CHICAGO, IL — Plastics Color Corporation is proud to announce their Chicago manufacturing facility is expanding color capacity. Historically the facility has manufactured color, but now more than ever before there is expanded focus. Plastics Color decided to amplify the color business at the facility to better accommodate their consumer packaging customer base in surrounding markets.
With the expansion of color production, the Chicago facility will now also act as the Midwestern color production hub for added ease and convenience. The shift allows for faster speed to market for many customers and expands the overall color capacity for the company. This transformation looks to have an immediate impact on the food and beverage, personal care, and consumer packaging markets, as color plays a critical part of their success.
"We continue to dedicate resources to the consumer packaging base that we serve to focus on the packaging and closure markets. To do this we remain committed to investing in our Chicago facility by expanding the color capacity and retooling our equipment and machinery," says Joe Byrne, President.
The Chicago facility offers color match and color development services. It will also provide assistance with Color Now, Plastics Color's color selection system, which provides exclusive access to their huge color library, use of the NODE+chroma technology, while fulfilling requests for plastics chips and samples.
