St. Paul - November, 2005 - The Specialty Mfg. Co. now produces the high-quality, inexpensive 586-Series Plastic Needle Valve. With a multitude of end configuration choices and its compact design, this panel-mountable needle valve provides an excellent, cost-saving alternative to applications that previously required larger, more expensive brass or stainless steel models.
With virtually thousands of end-configuration options, this versatile needle valve may be used in most general purpose metering applications including air, water, and chemical. End Options: 1/8, 1/4 Male and Female NPT, 1/8, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2 Hose Barb, 1/4, 3/8 Push-To-Connect, 3/8 BIB (Smooth Barb), 1/8, 1/4 JACO.
The 586-Series Needle Valve is available with a 2.5 Degree Standard Tip and is also produced with 5 Degree or 45 Degree Tip. Material Options include PVC, Polypropylene and PVDF. The panel mount nut is black nylon and the handle is black polyester. Seal options include Teflon (standard) and Ethylene Propylene.
