SLIDEWAYS Plastic Idler Components feature a variety of sheaves, pulleys, rollers, and roll end bearings made from various plastics, depending upon the desired wear characteristics. Functionally equivalent to metal parts, but quieter because there are no ball bearings, and less expensive too, they are ideal for applications requiring wash down or exposure to corrosives.
Made from UHMW which is a bearing-grade plastic, or Teflon® to provide high heat and chemical resistance, and nylon or MD-nylon or heavy-duty applications, SLIDEWAYS Plastic Idler Components come standard as V-belt and round belt pulleys, blind- and through bore idlers, and roll end bearings. Custom components can include hubs, key ways, grooves, and other requirements.
