Sulzer Metco Introduces the SinplexPro(TM) Plasma Spray Gun
Leading surface technology company now offers a single-electrode gun that can be used with an existing plasma system to boost efficiency and production.
Westbury, NY - Sulzer Metco, a global leader in surface engineering solutions and services, is expanding its product portfolio with the new SinplexPro(TM) Plasma Spray Gun, which significantly increases productivity with little additional equipment investment.
SinplexProTM is a single-cathode gun with a fixed cascaded arc, enabling users to spray significantly more material in less time often with higher deposition efficiencies. The cascaded arc design produces a much more consistent plume temperature and velocity profile compared with other single cathode models on the market. This results in an overall reduction in material costs and processing times.
Because the SinplexProTM can be easily integrated into most existing plasma spray systems, it offers a low-risk investment that will not disrupt current production. Furthermore, when the SinplexProTM is installed, companies will retain the ability to operate different guns in a single booth, allowing their technicians to continue using their existing plasma guns where necessary.
