ESAB Adds Ergonomic Handle to the Revolutionary PT-32EH PowerCut(TM) Plasma Cutting Torch

FLORENCE, SC - When ESAB Welding & Cutting Products introduced their PowerCut(TM) line of Plasmarc(TM) cutting machines, they revolutionized torch performance with the PT-32. With its new designation, PT-32EH, this torch now has a textured, ergonomic handle designed to enhance operator comfort and prevent slipping. The PT-32EH also features a unique dual-switch capability, so the operator can choose the desired switch position. More user-friendly than its competition, this torch only requires one step to energize it; there's no added lever to get in the way.

The PT-32EH torch is a key component of the following Plasmarc cutting packages: PowerCut-875 (cuts 7/8"; severs 1-1/4"), PowerCut-1125 (cuts 1-1/8"; severs 1-1/2") and PowerCut-1500 (cuts 1-1/2" severs 1-3/4").

What makes the PT-32EH torch so remarkable is its ability to achieve 30% higher travel speeds, which allows higher production rates, with lower operating costs. The innovative design of the PT-32EH combines the swirl baffle with the tip, so there are fewer parts to replace. In addition, the "parts-in-place" feature ensures greater safety because the torch will not operate unless all parts properly positioned.

The PT-32EH is easy to operate, offers exceptional cutting performance and uses ESAB's new long-life electrodes. A special 40-amp nozzle permits drag cutting. And the pilot arc start feature of the PowerCut/PT-32EH systems facilitates starting on painted or coated metals. The power cable for this torch has a smooth exterior, designed to prevent snagging and last longer.

One of the world's largest manufacturers of welding and cutting products, ESAB is a world leader in plasma cutting. Ever since they introduced the plasma process in 1957, ESAB has continued to expand their product line to offer the industry's most advanced capabilities, as well as a complete selection of equipment for virtually any plasma cutting and gouging application. Today, the Plasmarc line ranges from highly compact, portable machines to heavy duty industrial systems.
