New CopperPlus Electrode for Hypertherm Duramax Torches Delivers Double the Consumable Life for Plasma Cutting

A new patent pending CopperPlus(TM) electrode, manufactured exclusively for Hypertherm's Duramax(TM) line of torches, delivers twice the consumable life when cutting metal up to a ½" (12mm) thick using Hypertherm's plasma cutting systems. The electrode is a simple drop-in replacement that requires no changes to any other consumable parts or system settings.

"By simply replacing the electrode, customers can save a substantial amount of money, without sacrificing the cut quality or performance of their plasma cutting systems," said Clayton Gould, a product marketing manager at Hypertherm. "In addition, customers will see a reduction in downtime because they will not have to stop production to replace the consumables in their torches as often."

The CopperPlus electrode is fully compatible with the complete line of Duramax torches. Currently, Duramax torches are available for the Powermax65 and Powermax85, as well as the Powermax1000, Powermax1250, Powermax1650, Powermax600, Powermax800, Powermax900, MAX42, and MAX43 plasma cutting systems.

Key benefits of the new CopperPlus electrode include:
Double the consumable life when cutting metal up to a ½" (12mm) Full compatibility with all Hypertherm Duramax torches Easy integration that requires no changes to any other consumable parts or system settings
