Unique Pivot Loader Offers Vertical Packing for Stand-Up Pouches
(November 25, 2003 - Reedley, CA) - SWF Companies' compact PL 200 pivot loader offers vertical packing of stand-up pouches (and other bagged packages) into bliss, tray or RSC style cases and trays, at speeds up to 150 units per minute.
Known for its gentle product handling features, the PL 200 is ideally suited for applications ranging from popcorn, cookies, snacks, juice packs, fruit packs, candy, shredded cheese, frozen French fries and vegetables, to other bagged products. In addition to its product versatility, the PL 200 accommodates a wide range of case sizes and case patterns, as well as an infeed product settler/conveyor, which gently vibrates the product, providing an even, uniform bag prior to loading.
Easily integrated with various case/tray forming, erecting and sealing equipment from SWF, other standard features in the PL 200 include a polycarbonate interlocked guarding package, PLC controls, case discharge pusher, empty case holder and a touch screen operator interface.
Available options include a 180 degree bag tipper, for reducing case size for wedge shaped products, a 90 degree bag turner, automatic case positioner, broken bag detector and 90 degree rotating buckets.
