Piston Pumps offer reduced noise level.

Press Release Summary:

Model A10VSO of Series 32 medium-pressure, axial piston pumps decreases pressure pulsation while offering improved cavitation characteristics. It was designed with computer-aided modal analysis, which optimizes every component in terms of noise and vibration reduction. Combination of silent components from modular hydraulics range allows users in machinery and plant construction sector to reduce generation of noise within fluid power system.

"Whispering" Product Range Extended: New Generation of Axial Piston Pumps by Rexroth

With the noise-reduced A10VSO medium-pressure axial piston
pump of series 32 that is presented at Hannover Fair 2003, Bosch
Rexroth reaches a further milestone on the way to "whispering"
hydraulics. It supplements Rexroth's comprehensive product range
of noise-reduced power units and valves by a newly developed
series of variable displacement pumps.

The first model of this new generation was designed with the help of computer-aided modal analysis. This modern development tool was used to optimize every component in terms of noise and vibration reduction - while keeping a long service life in mind. The new A10VSO of series 32 does not only reduce the noise level, but also decreases pressure pulsation while offering improved cavitation characteristics. Furthermore, the new series features improved efficiency when compared with its predecessor models.

With the A10VSO series 32, Rexroth extends the availability of noise-reduced package solutions for stationary hydraulics. Thanks to the combination of silent components from Rexroth's modular hydraulics range, users in the machinery and plant construction sector can significantly reduce the generation of noise within the entire fluid power system.

Bosch Rexroth AG, a one-hundred-percent owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GimbH, achieved sales of 3.62 billion Euro in 2002 with approximately 25,500 employees. The company was formed in May 2001 by the merger of Bosch Automationstechnik and Mannesmann Rexroth and now combines under the brand name of Rexroth the range of products and services of the former brands
of Bosch Automation, Brueninghaus Hydromatik Indramat, Lohmann +
Stolterfoht, Mecman, Refu, Rexroth Hydraulics and Star. Rexroth offers all relevant drive, control and motion technologies: from mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics through to electronics as well as the associated services - and in around 80 countries worldwide.
