Oilgear's PVWH Pump Delivers High Pressure in 10 Different Sizes
(June 5, 2006; Milwaukee, Wisconsin) The Oilgear Company's PVWH open loop, axial piston pump provides low horsepower for high performance applications. Available in 10 different sizes and reaching a maximum pressure of 5000 psi, the extensive range of displacements offered allows users to select the size to precisely match specific design requirements and applications.
Competitively priced and featuring 11 types of controls, the PVWH pump allows for field interchangeability without disconnecting from the drive or system piping. With improved control performance, the PVWH pump utilizes Oilgear's industry experience in the use of infinite life sleeve bearings that run on wet film. Pressure lubrication to these bearings assures smooth control performance with better compensating stability, reliability and repeatability. A special hardening process is also applied to the control bores to maximize cycling capabilities and increase the lifecycle of the control.
Providing greater resistance to contamination, the PVWH pump utilizes Oilgear's revolutionary "hard-on-hard" rotating group - a hardened cylinder surface running on a hardened valve plate. Working together with steel shoes equipped with specially treated faces, sealed front shaft bearings, and saddle with special polymerous bearings, the pump is capable of operating with special fluids. This upgraded technology allows the PVWH pumps to work better in systems that require continued shifting under constant high pressures.
