Custom designed pins and punches manufactured from various grades of tool steels, stainless, and copper alloys to match specific customer requirements are being introduced by Regal Components, Inc. of Clearwater, Florida.

Regal Custom Precision Pins and Punches can be manufactured from various grades of tool steels such as M-2, A-2, A-10, H-13, S-7, PM-M4, PM-10V, PM-15V to optimize toughness and wear resistance, 420SS and 440SS stainless steels for corrosion resistance, and Moldstar(TM) copper alloys for heat transfer values. Draw polish, plating and coatings can be applied for additional wear resistance and lubricity, where needed.

Available with tip diameters as small as 0.002" and lengths up to 14", Regal Custom Precision Pins and Punches can be held to within 0.000050" tolerances and surface finishes to 2 rms. Suitable for a wide range of precision tooling applications, Regal Custom Pins and Punches can have details such as flats, tapers, rings, vents, ribs, spirals and precision-ground and EDM'd forms.
