Pilot-Operated Check Valves suit non-magnetic applications.

Press Release Summary:

Constructed with materials that will not affect applications in which magnetic interference is unacceptable, B2Mxx, B4Mxx, and B6Mxx series respectively feature 1/8, ¼, and 3/8 NPTF ports. Each series offers manual and flush manual release options as well as bubble-tight feature that helps maintain position without drift. Flow controls are available on ¼ and 3/8 models, and all series are rated for 120 psi max pressure. Minimum pilot pressure ratings range from 25-40 psi.

New Pilot-Operated Check Valve for Non-Magnetic Applications

(Elm Grove, WI) - NGT Specialty Valves has introduced a new pilot-operated check valve for applications in which magnetic interference is not acceptable.

Recently, a manufacturer of medical equipment approached us looking for a pilot-operated check valve to install on a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Machine. We modified a stock valve and removed all the ferrous materials, replacing them with high strength materials that would not affect the magnetic imagining. These modifications allow this valve to be used where standard valves would cause problems. The bubble-tight feature helped maintain position without drift and the manual release allowed the operator to release the trapped air manually.

Available models: Stock sizes include 1/8, 1/4 and 3/8 NPTF ports, with manual and flush manual release options. Flow controls are available on 1/4 and 3/8 models. Direct mount models can be bolted directly to the cylinder or manifold. For more information and technical specifications, go to NGTvalves.com/NonFerrousValve.html

About NGT Specialty Valves: NGT designs, manufactures and stocks a line of load locking valves, pneumatic counterbalances, and specialty valves for maintaining position when drifting is not acceptable, or when there is a sudden loss or reduction of air pressure.
