Pillar Induction Delivers 75kW Melting System for Gold & Silver Refining
Pillar Induction has commissioned a new 75kW medium frequency induction melting installation at a leading precious metal refiner in the Midwest United States.
The new installation consists of one medium frequency 150 lb. steel frame furnace with a hydraulic tilt system. The system is powered by a 75 kW, 3kHz Pillar MK8 power supply.
A closed pressurized water cooling system was provided to cool the power supply and three furnaces. The water cooling system included a single pump, pumping station.
Pillar provided the complete system with water cooled power leads, bus work and interconnection.
