Matthews Introduces Fast Drying, MEK-Based, Pigmented Inks for Use on Non-Porous Surfaces -- Metal, Plastic, and Rubber



Pittsburgh, PA, June 8, 2007 - Matthews Marking Products has just introduced the SCP-800 Series of inks for use with existing Drop-on-Demand ink-jet systems. Formulated to provide a strong contrast, these pigmented inks are available in light blue, yellow, and white for marking on a comprehensive range of materials, and are particularly well suited for non-porous surfaces, such as metal, plastic and rubber.

The SCP-800 Series enables higher performance with good adhesion, as well as abrasion resistance. In addition, these inks provide increased UV and weathering resistance. This series of inks has been created to work with Matthews' DOD 8000 Series, Midi or Maxi, and 28 or 64 mm Standard Valve Ink-Jet Printheads.
