Jordan Valve Introduces New Sanitary PID Pressure Controller

Cincinniati, Ohio U.S.A. ~ Jordan Valve introduces the new Sanitary PID Pressure Controller.

This proportional/integral/derivative pressure controller features a sanitary clamp process connection to prevent media from entering the controller and ensures sterility in the process. The pressure measuring element is a piezoresistive sensor that compares the measured pressure to the setpoint and send a corrective 4-20mA output signal to a final control element (i.e. control valve) to control the pressure.

The operating parameters may be changed by means of the four push buttons that are located below the LDC display. The housing is made from die cast aluminum alloy and coated with an epoxy resin, suitable for washdown.

Coupled together with a control valve, a complete control loop can be configured to control pressure beyond the capabilities of sanitary pressure regulators.
